Liam fixed a long-standing problem with a toilet replacement. He had the knowledge, expertise, and patience to complete the job successfully, repairing problems created by the initial installation years earlier. It was obvious that the earlier install was by a wannabe handyman trying out plumbing. Now, no problems and even requested estimates for two future jobs that I know are needed. They arrived on the early end of the scheduled time frame and worked diligently to complete the job. Vern's pricing is fair, I don't feel they're out to take advantage of anybody, they're quick to respond, they do quality work, and the people are a pleasure. If that is what you want in a plumbing company, then you should definitely call them for your plumbing needs. We have dealt with several companies in the past three years for home improvements and repairs and have realized it's hard to find a company that checks all these boxes anymore. We appreciate that Vern's does!

Called their office at around 4 o’clock expecting to schedule an appointment for the next day. The nice lady who answered the phone said let me check and see what we can do. She called back in a few minutes and said her tech could be own his way. I got home and he was waiting for me. Chris looked at my hot water heater and told me he could have it done by 7:30 tonight. He gave me an estimate immediately which I thought was a fair price. Another tech showed up with the tank and they went to work. They were very professional and knowledgeable about the heater and other questions I had concerning our issue. Would highly recommend them. Nothing but pleased with my experience.

I contacted Vern's because I had a drainage system for 3 downspouts that runs under my driveway that was backing up and overflowing onto the driveway. They gave me a quote for power jetting the pipe and them putting a camera down it to verify it was clean. It turned out the pipe under the driveway was full of shingle grit and sludge (house built 20 years ago). They jet washed it and then attempted to put the camera in. The camera was too big to navigate the turns in the pipe. They then came back with a different camera that would fit the pipe and succeeded in shooting it to verify it was open. They had agreed to reclean the system if it proved to still be blocked at no added cost. They are very professional, responsive, friendly and explain everything they are doing as they go. I wouldn't use any other company for a problem that required investigation and testing to determine the cause.

We first called Vern's Plumbing a year or so ago to replace our water heater. It was a pleasant experience and we were impressed by the Bill, the technician and their prices were fair. When our bath tub faucet started leaking we called them again. From speaking with Reese in the office to schedule the appointment; to Chris, the technician that repaired our leaking faucet is was pleasure. Chris was friendly and very knowledgeable. Recently had an issue with my well pump not working. Tried to get resolved with home warranty company without success. We contacted this plumber from our church bulletin as we thought they would be a reputable, honest company. We needed an exterior faucet replaced and their estimate was over $600. I asked what the hourly rate was and he said $400 but due to the need to access from the interior wall, they would need to quote a higher rate. He (also an assistant) spent a great deal of time explaining the work and seemed pleasant and knowledgeable. I returned to work doing laundry and chores on the 3rd floor. I could feel the vibration against the wall as they were cutting the pipe. I returned to the basement to see how things were going and offered everyone a drink. I went to deliver something to my neighbor and received a call from their office. When I returned they explained there was a leak in the pipe and water was coming down from the ceiling. They said it was not their fault and that the leak was probably already there. I said there was no leak as water marks would have appeared at the recessed light and that their repairs caused the leak from all the cutting and vibrations. They said a leak should not occur due to our work. They offered to find the leak and make the repairs at my cost. I asked to speak to the owner. After considerable time, I spoke to their scheduler, who said she was a co-owner. I asked for them to take responsibility and to submit through their insurance for the repairs needed. They refused to accept responsibility and directed their technicians to pack up and leave. The technicians removed the spigot they just installed and left a huge hole in the ceiling and exterior wall (see attached photos). They did not charge for any service but I'm left in a worse condition than when they arrived. Although I typically support small businesses and use them regularly, I'm sorry to say that I would not recommend this company nor use them in the future.

We recently had all the floors in our home redone, including the main floor powder room. The floor installers removed the toilet and pedestal sink to do their work. After seeking estimates from 3 plumbing services, I decided to use Verns. Liam and Brett came out to do the estimate and Liam returned to do the work the next day. While Verns estimate was more expensive than the other 2 services, I felt Liam had explained the work better, showed more confidence in his ability to complete the job and was just a better fit. On the day of, Liam completed the work professionally, cleanly and in a way that showed pride in his trade. He took extra care to protect our new floors and tackled the vanity I purchased to replace the pedestal with ease although it posed some challenges. He was personable and didn't mind me asking questions and watching him work. I have my plumber. I recommend Vern's, and whenever possible and available, I highly recommend Liam. Leaked so we stopped using it and made an appointment with Verns to come out. Didn’t leak right away when Nate and Brett were here but they stayed, and really looked for what the problem was. Sealed a small area that may be the culprit, and let me know if it was not. They will come back out to fix it. I really appreciated how honest Nate is.
